Bainbridge Bluegrass Festival is held at the 90+ acre Battle Point Park, on Bainbridge Island WA. The park offers miles of running fields, a network of day-long hiking trails, an enchanting community-built playground for kids, and even a world-class observatory offering sky-gazing tours and planetarium shows.

Bainbridge Island is located within the Central Puget Sound Basin, east of the Kitsap Peninsula and west of the City of Seattle. With 53 miles of shoreline, the island is approximately five miles wide and ten miles long, encompassing nearly 17,778 acres, or 28 square miles (73 km²), and is one of the larger islands in Puget Sound.

Free shuttle bus to and from Agate Pass Transportation between the Bainbridge Ferry Terminal and Battle Point Park between 9:00 AM and 9:30 PM. Use the west entrance of Battle Point Park, it is the closest entrance to the festival, with the best parking.

 

Directions

Edwin Richie telescope sits on top of the Battle Point Park Observatory. Planetarium shows and telescope tours will be offered to Bainbridge Bluegrass Festival attendees, the day of the festival. The music stage is located next to the Observatory.
